Owner, Operator, Designer, Visionary

HKB is the owner and operator of HKBalloons NYC.
His work has been showcased for celebrity events, corporate functions, television, film festivals, The World’s Fair and New York Fashion Week. Recent engagements have included Saturday Night Live, "Think Big" a contemporary art show held at OneArtSpace in Tribeca, The TV show Pose, The Film Harry Haft and a Netflix original movie, both to be released in 2020. This Fall, Bishop's art will be featured in gallery installations in both Tennessee and Kentucky.
His abstract installations feature design techniques not typically used in the industry, elevating the medium to an abstract sculptural level. Bishop has created original props for film and TV, adding production design to his list of skills.
With a background in theatre and music, his eye for design and large-scale production with attention to detail is unparalleled. Bishop has been working with balloons for nearly 25 years and is looking forward to an opportunity to create his art for New Yorkers in the coming months.
